Who else has read this amazing book? I saw the Earthfall dance production last night - the final performance of its run. Went with mixed feelings, I didn't want to disrupt my imagination of the book. But what a fantastic, beautiful presentation, two brilliant (and beautiful!) young men celebrating the story in dance. One of the best things I have ever seen, especially the section where they're just wearing swimmers!
Watch the videos on the website (yes, it's real water!)

I read this book years ago and loved it with its historical context and budding relationship between the two leads. I had heard that a movie might happen but it has been a long time since then. Nice to see someone has adapted it.

I read it a couple of years ago - it was lent to me by an Irish (straight) friend. It was a beautiful story, though being written in the Irish vernacular it was difficult going, as i had to interpret as i went. However, I persevered and enjoyed it.
