You're right. I've seen a few dark grays, but almost never a light grey.

This is a great color and I am still amazed that Arena brand makes this suit. Personally or maybe I should say 'logistically', I just don't think this suit would fit me. It is a tiny suit and I think I would be a hot mess..... :lol:

I bought a gray color swim brief in Thailand. It’s nylon+Lycra but unlined. Soon I found unexpectedly it became see thru when wet. I like Arena. The fabric they use is very soft and stretchy. And the suits are always front lined.
