I know this has been a popular topic but since it's going on now we may as well talk about it.

I bought my first Aussiebum a few days ago - a classic 1.5 in maroon. I really like it, looks good and feels good. At first I was concerned it was too roomy (I got a large) but I don't know that I'd want to go down a size. The maroon is dark enough I think I could wear it to any beach/pool and not worry about being indecent.

Anyone tried the Surge style brief? I think the two-tone colors look cool. Heard some discussion about the W.J 1.5 but not about the surge.

If you're getting anything discuss your haul.

Update: looks like mediums are selling out in some styles. I stuck with Larges.

Got: Classic 1.5 in green, WJ 1.5 in dark blue (gotta keep those transparencies low cause I actually want to wear these suits), and just for fun, some denim print underwear, in case I can go walking/jogging in them. Could be a wash, but at 50% I couldn't pass it up.

I have 3 pairs of surges and they are awesome. My favorite suits definitely.

Surge looks good on the pics.. I didn't get it yet

surge is ok, but prefer the classics
depending which colour u get the lighter panels can still go see through and your pubes/butt crack will be on show.
but fit wise its very similar to the classic.

would love to see u in the new maroon and see what the colour looks like in real life. that WJ1.5 in navy is a must! though youll still get people staring at u

Oh yeah Mazda I forgot in the other post. I got the classic AB in white too.

WJ 1.5 in Navy is the same as Horizon, right?

they seem like they are phasing out all the WJ ones though

Yeah the Surf 2.5 is the newest right? Together with new colors of the regular classics, the swish and the lowrider. I don't know.. I think I'm late to the trend, or following a trend that's over. But I don't care about that.

Oh yeah Horizon is the color combo I got with the navy front/back and the yellow bands. I've never had a swimsuit with the cup or ring in it before so I'm interested to see how this goes. And again, with the 50% off sale, if it's unsuccessful, I can deal.

It doesn't really have a cup or ring in it yamamay.. it's more of a little bit of fabric. Will this be your first WJ? I remember putting mine on for the first time. Was funny.. I thought I was wearing it 'wrong' at first

I picked up a classic 1.5 in white to wear on the boat and vintage light blue stripe too. Plus some new undies. Great sale!

I'd wanted to order some 1,5 in size S. But the colours I want to buy are sold out! Others I don't like. Let's wait how long it takes until they'll refill their stock.

which coloour were you looking at?

they restock often, you can put ur email in to get an alert

This was perfect timing as the weather out here in CA just started getting past 80 degrees. Picked up new 1.5 classic, as well as a 1.5 WJ and WJ Storm. Both of those will be my first WJ suits!

I looked for green and blue suits. S was sold out. Up to now I haven't got an information. But they have the old price again.
