What was the name of these Aussiebums?
They are Loose version and had a team name. The colors are sort of Italian flag red, green and white.

Just guessing, but maybe "extremely sexy ones"?
I know that wasn't really helpful![](http://emoji.tapatalk-cdn.com/emoji4.png)

Hmmm. Don't know either, but they're awesome. I wish Aussiebum would bring back some of their previous designs!!

They look like WJ Loose either 2.5 or 1.5 but I'm just guessing. But, I agree with you budgybloke wish they bring back some of the previous designs.budgybloke wrote:Hmmm. Don't know either, but they're awesome. I wish Aussiebum would bring back some of their previous designs!!

Re: What was the name of these Aussiebums?
Exactly. They're getting a bit 'fashion' and less like the classic surf lifesaving design/cuts they started out with.
That said, they have released a few more classic cuts recently - in orange, pink and light grey. I bought the grey ones (I think they're called 'platinum' or similar) and wore them to do laps last week without realising the rear goes extremely transparent when wet. I did 3km during the early morning rush at my pool and will have inadvertently given a number of people in the lanes to the left and right a bit of a show.
I only noticed when I went to the showers and caught a view in the mirror.
Embarrassing!

Do you have any photos of them? I was considering purchasing them as I've been on the hunt for gray speedos for forever.budgybloke wrote:I bought the grey ones (I think they're called 'platinum' or similar) and wore them to do laps last week without realising the rear goes extremely transparent when wet

Haven't taken any pics at this point, sorry.
But if you're thinking of wearing them in public, just know the rear will be totally transparent when wet! I'm sure a lot of us would appreciate seeing your cute backside with a wet speedo though, so buy away!!

...but gets sheer when wet - particularly in the rear where it's only single-lined.

Thanks for sharing the pics. You look great in them!
I have this pair of Aussiebum too but they were released as a platinum colour many years ago. It is good to see that they brought back this colour!

**swoon*** Looking great Budgy! Perfect fit on you!
Re: What was the name of these Aussiebums?
Looking amazing as always, Budgy! Nothing for which to be embarrassed! I think anyone who saw you in those was either drooling or extremely jealous that they could never look as good as you. I may have said this before but it is still true -- Aussiebum should pay you to wear their suits instead of the other way around.

Re: What was the name of these Aussiebums?
Thanks guys. I think it's probably too sheer in the rear to do laps in. I was quite shocked when I saw my rear view in the mirror as I headed to the showers, but once I got over that I had a chuckle to myself. What a crack-up.
Re: What was the name of these Aussiebums?
You'll need to come by my place Budgy. We can spend the afternoon by the pool and I will gladly report back to the rest of the board as to whether or not they are too sheer! It's like a community service…I'm willing!

I'm definitely happy to oblige solarguy, but you'll have to let me know exactly how you'll be conducting your in-depth review. I imagine it will need to be quite hands-on?
