I don't own any Tulio suits but they're from Brazil so maybe they'd be small enough for me. Anyone here have one? Thoughts on fit/quality? I saw this particular model and thought I might grab one (plus I wanna see about maybe wearing some box-cut anyway).

I ended up buying the red one in size small. They actually FEEL really nice. But I think I look kinda fat in them :-/

I believe honesty is the best way to go.
Yes your package looks yummy in them, but I don't think they're really that flattering on you otherwise.
Just ain't the right shape to be wearing them somehow.
Which is shocking to me, because you look to be the right shape for just about anything really.
One size too small perhaps ?

Thanks, wisenyoung. I agree entirely. Was thinking of sizing up, also. If it ends up being too big then I'll probably give it to my boyfriend. On the other hand I might just return it because the problem with box-cuts is that they look best if you have tree-trunk legs, which I don't. So perhaps my trial with box-cut swimwear has just proved that they're wrong for me.

I also believe that you have a close to perfect swimmer's physique that would look great in almost anything, however, based on the other pictures that you have posted, in your case, in my opinion, the briefer the swimsuit the better. Your proportions are just better shown off in a skimpier speedo.

I agree with scott and also yourself.
Skimpy is better for you.. and I on the other hand am better off in the squarecuts because of my retarded "tree trunk" legs
Gotta work with what ya got I guess

lol you know I like the look of a low-rise Speedo on your body ... but I gotta say, those really don't look bad at all - you may want to hold onto them for those few occasions where you need a little bit more "coverage"

Gosh... They look fine in front. And you, ummm, fill them out well. But the back doesn't work....I mean... your butt's awesome, but there are those love handle things. Maybe the waist band is too tight?? You've got an amazingly lean body. I don't know why the suit would do that.
There is something to be said for the suit if it feels comfortable. The Aqux in my avatar looks too tight but it feels really comfortable. More comfortable than suits that look looser. You never know.

I gotta say, I like the honesty and respect I'm getting on this thread today. Thanks all. I'm just gonna exchange 'em cause the waistband is kinda tight. I think the reason it feels comfortable is because the waistband is thick and more like underwear, which is something you wear every day maybe? I dunno. I'll size up and see.
My search for an "ok" square-cut isn't over yet, though. As Scotty says.. sometimes I just don't feel so comfortable with some of the skimpier stuff I have depending on the locale.
Will shoot some more photos once the Medium's are in.

You look awesome. If you are looking for square cuts, I like this one by Aussiebum,

I own those a-bums and they are super comfy. The nice thing about them is they have a lot of bounce to the fabric, so as long as you don't get a size too big, you're almost always good to go.
Downside to them I find is the fabric has a lot of drag. So if you're using them for laps, they may not be ideal
Nevertheless, I think they might look quite good on you

Hey all. Still waiting for the Tulio's to come back but just wanted to comment on the suggestions.
Actually a good buddy of mine wore a pair of aBum Leagues to Rehoboth Beach once. They definitely looked super good on him.
I have tended to think that aBum's are too big for me but luckily I'm at my boyfriend's right now and he has the one aBum swimsuit I've actually worn so perhaps I'll take a photo of it and you can let me know if you think they're too big.
Anyway the "League" style is definitely on my radar!

Just a follow-up on wide waistbands. I have a couple pairs of Papi underwear with them (CK is making them like that too). They work okay as underwear but I'm not sure, for me anyway, they'd work well in a swim suit. The back and sides are okay but they hit my stomach in the wrong place. And its the old problem of having to buy small to get the butt to fit, but the pouch is tight. Just cause you have a small butt doesnt mean you have a small package....

Justin- you are definitely right. I have a pair of Papi, too and they really fit improperly and I had to trash 'em. Things (in the west) are designed to fit men with true 30-31 inch waists who work out all day and have big butts and no fat

Just some shots of the aBums I bought. My boyfriend thought they were slightly big so I gave them to him. Lemme know what you think.
They're the SquadBoosterjock model
Also, I obviously took these with my iPhone so the quality is meh. Oh well.

NS!
Well they look fine to me. The butt side looks perfect. Having them just a little loose in front really shows off your package. Man they look really good! I like the feel of my cock and balls in a suit like that. Take em back!!!

NS,
So true... Recently I've been doing a little resistance training. I've added a little muscle to my upper body, but my weight's the same since my butt is actually smaller!!!. Even my skinny jeans want to fall off. (I get the old "are you eating enough" comment) Jeesh....

newspeedo, I think you look great in them. Your hot ass looks just as hot as ever and the front view, very nice. I think your bf is one lucky guy.
Thanks for sharing these pics.
Cheers Mate!!

Hey Always, I wish I looked more like you but thanks!!
Justin, I've been getting the "Are you eating enough?" for years and years. Get used to it.
I actually think the suit does seem to fit alright. Maybe I'll buy another pair for myself and maybe a pair of the Squad with no "boosterjock" because they're square cuts, or some League style.
I seem to buy all my suits in winter so that come spring I'm ready to go hehe.
Thanks again, all!
