Vintage suites

I've just purchased an Aquablade brief, waiting for it to come in the mail, so excited! I am now thinking of getting a vintage suit. It's an interesting thought. They tend to be solid or have panels which are, in my opinion, so much better than todays prints.
Alot of older people vouch for the older Speedos. Such as that they were like 'paper' suits, or a different material (tricot or something?) of todays materials.
So does anyone know of anternative swimwear that are super streatch tricot (or similar), nylon or 'paper' like? Pics and link people, you guys now everything!!!

Hi Speedo's 1st competition cloth was S2000 that preceded the aquablade. It is nice and shinney, and feels very good. They do pop up on ebay, and I will be selling some in my ebay sales.
Speedo for a couple of years also made a paperweight suit, I would say that the nearest to it these days is the Arena X-flat. The X-flat is probably the lightest weight suit available, and wears well.

I have an X-Flat. It really is very thin and light. Not much stretch and doesnt absorb water really. Rides very low on the hip bone and fits well. You have to buy it very close to size since it really doesnt stretch. I've only read about the paper suits and seen pics. For comp they wore them incredibly tight.
Some of the Asian suits have vented butt seams. I don't know why the comp suit makers don't use them because they really keeps the suit skin tight on your butt when you are swimming. Even some of my American made tightest suits get water under the butt when I'm catching waves body surfing. Love to see a vented butt seam on the 'blade.
