Help ordering from Japanese sites.

Post by Justin88 » Mon Jul 19, 2010 8:24 am

I want to order an Arena jammer from Japan. This site has cool stuff http://www.kyouei-mizugi.com/ When you click "overseas" in the top menu bar that does link to some instructions to order. But it doesn't say and I cant find a translator that will tell me the codes for inventory.

They use a red "x" an "o" and a "1". The 1 is supposed to mean one left I think. Maybe the red "x" means they never have that size at all and the "o" means out of stock. When you click the number of items pull down menu it always goes from 1 to six.

Anyone read Japanese??

According to Google Translator the O means in stock, the x means sold out, and the 1 means one remaining

Hey thanks. The Google one worked better than the one I found.

yeah maddtown got it right.

I bought a couple of swimwear from this site. I used their 'ordering overseas' guide but I also used google translator.

I bought the 'ASICS AMA03S New Logo Black SP Hydro' for my straight & married buddy and he liked it. It was the biggest size XO but it's more like for 28-30 inches. He wore it once as underwear and another time to the pool with me. He's kewl about the speedo and appreciates the gift. he's skinny but the Asics fit him well and he looks so hot in it too.

Wow. Awesome suit. Thanks for the sizing and site info. They have a huge selection. I really like Asian speedos with the mesh butt seam. I'm also thinking of getting a pair of Asian jammers. They are cut low and fit tight.

What country do you live in and how fast was the delivery? I think that site charges about US$20 for shipping (2000 yen?).

Justin, when I ordered from them it was really fast - not more than four days. You can see in my other post "Speedo" under Speedo Shopping how a Japanese size small looks next to an american size 28 suit.

Hey thanks for posting that John!! The Arena looks like a kids suit next to the US 28 in your pic!!. Thanks for the reminder. I forgot the size differences. Man, I'm going to have to do some measuring to figure out what will fit. Might need a Large.

My new red Arena (see post) is a US 32 and fits that way. I thought it would be smaller coming from Asia (Singapore). There isn't any country of origin on it. If it's a fake/knockoff, it's a good one. It's actually a little loose in the butt. If I'd known, I'd have gone down a size. But Asian usually runs real small as you found out.

My Aqux is a medium. Have to work a little to get that one on, mainly to get everything to fit in in the front. The butt looks tight but really isn't. I have an Asian jammer from China. It's a Large and it fits tight and rides real low.

I wonder how they come up with those centimeter measurements on the Japan speedo site???

Thanks again man.

both times i ordered from this japanese site the package arrived in 4 days, which was stunningly quick. when i bought some speedos from ebay singapore it took almost 2 weeks to arrive.

i'm still trying to get a pic of my swim buddy in his asics but to no avail coz i can sense he's a bit wary of pics leaking to the internet. haha.

the asics are rly tight fitting. even though it is size XO (supposedly 36inches) but in reality it will fit 28-30 inches waist.

The japanese speedo-brand ones are a little looser than the asics...size L can fit a 32 inch waist I think.

Thanks for the info. Asics makes a nice suit. I guess I'd have to order the XO. Jeesh, it looks like kids sizing. I mean, only somebody ten years old could fit in a small!!

yeah, i think i would order a large if i did it again as I usually wear a 28.

the centimeter measurements don't make any sense to me justin - i don't know how they come up with that.

Hey Justin. I was just gonna ask if you could give us a little report once you get your suit(s) in the mail. As always I'm on the hunt and I'm hoping to find something a bit more conservative than the Aqux I bought and this site has always had a lot of different things to choose from. Basically I'm hoping to get something that is SLIGHTLY less tight and a little bit fuller in cut so once you get anything please let us know!

I'll be glad to post when I get one. Maybe in a few weeks. I posted a pic of my red Arena here about a week ago. I don't know where it was made but I bot it from a seller on ebay/Singapore. Had U.S. sizing sort of. A year ago I bot a Speedo brand/Thailand suit from another Singapore site.. I should post a pic. Both are cut fairly low in front, but fuller in the back than Aqux. But they were probably discontinued models.
