I would buy both, if you like them and you can afford to buy them both then do it. If I based my decision on what I would look like wearing a swim brief then I would never buy any. But I don’t. I buy them because I like them. You should do the same. Go on you know you want.

I think the issue is more on the need. I can't use the gym or go to the community centre pool because of the pandemic. I know I have more than 10 swim briefs.

Is there such thing as too many? I have 97 pairs. My aim is to get to 100 by Xmas. But I would go for the pair with wider sides.

just get them if you like them.. we all obviously loved them a little too much, thats why we are on this forum right ?

i prefer the 2nd one, it cuts on the cheeks better, but down to what youjr body shape is.

I'm a short guy too, at 5'7" sadly. I notice the red Sporti brief seems a bit transparent. COVID-19 has limited the fun we can have after swimming.

I picked up some inexpensive, off-brands with some Sportis from SwimOutlet a few years ago too. I sold the off-brands in bulk on Poshmark, but have kept the Sportis, if that's any indication. I have the Euros in green, regular in dark blue, and Polos in mid-blue. I'm 5'7" and think they fit and look great on me. Definitely a go-to pair for lap swimming, but I understand, that's going to have to wait for now.

I know what you are going through. I lost my father in October 2020, it was his birthday in January and it his and my mother 52nd wedding anniversary at the start of March.

How are the new trunks? Hope they fit ok and you are happy with them.
