Aussiebum classic 1.5 inch sizing question?

Post by geauxboi » Sat Aug 22, 2020 5:34 pm

Can someone help me with the sizing of the Aussiebum shiny classic 1.5 inch? See the link below. I wear a waist size 32 for Speedo solar 1 inch for an example of my size. So should I get a small or medium?

Well Speedo 32,
A loose fit , real tight fit?

Most speedos have some kind of stretch and nylon AussieBums don’t have much at all.

I would say 32 normal for speedo, you should be a medium. If you are a tight 32 speedo I go large AussieBum.

That’s my personal take ...

Sorry have no knowledge of the Solar to compare but I think the ab are running larger than they used to. I was a M and now take a S and I have definitely not got smaller!

Thanks for the info......I want it to fit like the picture on the ebay listing. That kind of little bit loose look, but not too loose. I can sometime fit in a 30 waist in the Speedo solar 1 inch, with just a little bit of butt cheek hanging out, but nothing too revealing. It is just the 32 waist covers everything just right, so I was thinking I could go with a small or meduim in the Aussibum. Small if they are cut big, medium if they are cut small.

As a long time and "lots" AB wearer, and from your description of "little bit loose", you'll want the medium for sure. I'm a 32 Tyr or Solar and I'm between an AB S and M, so wear both, but the Classic smalls are quite tight (and some of mine are really tight - they vary in size without reason)

solar is so tight i needed a 34 because 32 was quite snug, and I am usually a small in aussiebum classics so if you want a loose fit then medium :)
