New Speedo Recommendations?

Post by speedo dude » Sun Mar 18, 2012 10:47 am

Hey guys, I've been wearing classic speedo brand speedos all my life. Currently in need of a fresh pair or two but never bought any other brands. Got any suggestions? I personally enjoy the feel of lycra speedos over the nylon Aussiebums but I'm definitely open to what fits/looks best. I'm currently living in New York and I'm not sure where the best places to buy speedos are here.

Any help would be great!

Have you tried the speedo Solar? Only an inch on the hips. Click on my link below and search "speedo" to see them on Ebay. Buy them a size smaller than your usual size and cut out the liner if you want to show off  The only Speedo ever to have a full front tailored seam as you can see in the photo.
Cheers,

Nike suits are the way to go, IMO :) They look and fit much better than a classic speedo. You may have to go down at least one size though.

You must be a youngster, if you refer to the classic Speedos, and yet prefer the lycra Speedos to the original nylon ones. The classic speedo was the 100% nylon ones.....

Just in case we are talking the same language, I draw your attention to Caussie, but it is 100% nylon, as were those classic Speedos. Worth a look at http://www.caussie.com.au. In any event, I wish you all the best in your search, it is very much about what feels right for you.

Enjoy!

It's not that I mind nylon, I think it was just that when I tried some aussiebums the waist band was elastic and it didn't stretch so I found the fit not as comfortable.
