A'bum Classic vs. Loose

A'bum Classic vs. Loose
How do Aussibum Classic 1.5" compare for fit with Loose 1.5"? My 2.5"s Loose feel tighter round the leg, looser round the waist - is that also so of the 1.5"s? On the website they look pretty much the same (same pics in fact, I think!) Any thoughts? Thanks, guys.
Re: A'bum Classic vs. Loose
Tbe Classics do fit snugger at the waist, though you can still 'hang out' in them, though not as obviously as the Loose style. Loose are designed to give you a lot of room at the waist so that when you tie them, you get a lot of loose fabric at the front of the brief, so that everything REALLY hangs out.
Re: A'bum Classic vs. Loose
Thanks, it's fairly obvious really, I suppose - you're probably the world authority on the subject. The Classic 1.5s are absolutely the the best I have ever, ever, worn for swimming. The 2.5s just seem to catch the water that bit more.
Re: A'bum Classic vs. Loose
Maybe it's an age thing, but these days I prefer 2.5 over 1.5. Just not into things hanging below my hips these days - and yes, i do still have hips. The AB Classic's are great briefs. Loose are not only loose by name but by nature. The cords seem to come undone quite quickly - though perhaps considering some of the uses I put my AB's to, perhaps i shouldn't complain. Shower anyone?
