So I have a weeks holiday coming up in Barcelona and you can guess what I'm going to ask... does anyone know what kind of swimwear the guys over there wear? What can I get away with? ...on the beach, at the pool in the hotel? :D

The artificial beaches are horrible in Barcelona, as the sand is imported. It can hardly be washed off your feet. I wore Speedo style swimwear, which is perfectly okay.

I can recommend the nearby little city of Sitges. There you can wear anything you like. So beautiful, great beaches... Many to choose from. |Besides, the city is very openminded and welcomes all.

ah ok well thanks for the tip, Sitges does look very nice and not far away at all. I know what you mean about dodgy sand but I won't complain about that if it's a chance to wear something nice!
