I got some out of China that were copies and less quality and smaller cut than the original Japanese.

Hey Tannedbum. To reply to your request about how things worked out. Got my 6 suits delivered to my door 17 days after ordering. No problems with sizing. These suits were made for Westerners and are very comfortable and well made. Lots of room for the junk!
Replica suits made in China are often made by a different supplier each year. A Chinese wholesaler will order perhaps 1000 suits from a manufacturer, then sell them to Ebay and other retailers.
The Ebay seller mentioned above has sold about 100 suits according to the statistics. Ebay has gone to great lengths to minimise cheats and Paypal will refund any money lost in fraud.
Remember to order 2 sizes up and use the drawstring to pull up the suit in front. They are a very, very low cut suit!!! Just look at the juicy Jap models!!!
The Chinese suits are made with a more forgiving fabric (elastane) and will stretch a bit with wear. Oh, and cut out the liner in the white suits and you will get a profile like my avatar. Enjoy!

I am glad to hear you had better luck than I did. You hit the problem on the head with two points. First - they are replicas and not actually made by Aqux. Second, they are made from a variety to manufacturers so there is always a chance the next ones you order won't fit the same or be same quality. I got some Aussiebum from China and questioned the size issue. They said when they make them for Aussiebum they use the western sizing but these were for Asian market. The fact is, Aussiebum makes their own in Australia. (Same issues with Andrew Christian)
Paypal is owned by Ebay and both talk a good talk and do pretty good. I have some real good luck with getting issues resolved and others went on so long they got forgotten. With one seller they were very good about the problem and said to send them back and they would send a larger suit. It would cost more to send it back than I had paid. I thank him for offer but would keep them and order a new suit one. ( I gave the suit to a neighbor that uses my pool and liked them) It's not like I paid $200 for a Prada. I guess when dealing with a country that doesn't honor copyrights we have to be careful -- that is why it is important the we communicate on this board.
