So, being a huge fan of Aussiebum suits
I find on Ebay ASIANBUM (I somewhat laughed at first)
Dare I ask if anyone has ever purchased one of these suits?
They look really tight and perhaps made for those less endowed?
Thoughts?

Basically you get what you pay for - a $7.99 swim suit. The fabric is very poor quality and not made all that well. They are trying to confuse you into thinking it is Aussiebum. (some China factories are making Aussiebum, Andrew Christian, N2N etc copies with inferior material and quality)
The Shipping notation says from US but the comments farther down says it takes 20-30 days. That is NOT coming from the US to take that long. (mine actually took 6 weeks)
China does not honor copyright laws so poor quality copies of quality items are pouring out there. Ebay does not monitor their sellers, especially in less than co-operative China, for counterfeits, so sellers are really taking advantage of that and promising real designer goods but sending poor copies. They say "return in seven days". First, when does the 7 days begin - when ordered? No prayer of meeting that timeline. Besides, from the US to China will cost more than the price of the suit.
I have hit the US only button on Ebay but see I still have to be careful as they are now lying on the austion details.
"Buyer Beware" is the keynote with EBay or any oversees shopping that is not coming from the manufacturer direct.

Would love to see them on a really hot Asian guy - but for personal use I think they're a tad bit too small.
But they look hot nonetheless.

TannedBum is right. I bought a couple of knockoff Aquxes and you get what you pay for. The fabric quality is not exactly tip top but my main complaint was that they were a poor fit. It's possible that you can get your money's worth, but keep expectations reasonable. But they do look good...

I cannot order an Asianbum due to copyright infringement laws in Australia. Not spelt the same but "clear intent" is present. Eventually, some Chinese ebay merchant will get thru and I will buy one as they look great. These are not fakes. People "unobservant" enough not to see the difference in the name need an eye exam. More importantly, the cut and the fabric (polyester, just like Jap Aqux@$100) are totally different than Aussiebum. And the MOST important, they are 20% of the cost!
Tannedbum has a "thing" about Chinese merchandise. Easy solved. Don't buy it. I have about 50 Chinese suits (see my photos in Speedo Pics). Never one problem with delivery and every one is still near new.
If you really hate Chinese merchandise, never enter a Wallmart again!
Cheers,

I have one of these AsianBum swimuits in size L, which is pretty small suit in compare to standard sizes. Mine is a dark blue - white striped suit, and with a good tan, it looks great. For big guys it will not work, I guess.
Despite of what I read here about quality, I am really happy with my suit. It feels okay in my hands. It has a perfect fit on my body type and it is one of the very few suits that does not need altering before they fit. For some reason, my build seems to be more compatible with the Asian suits. When a suit lays flat on the table, its footprint should be wider than it is high, even with the smaller sizes, and that is usually the case with Asian suits. It is very obvious when comparing Aqux suits and a many Speedo.
If only that AsianBum suit was available in plain black.
