Hi, I am a noob.

Bought two pairs of unlined swim bikini and they are kinda see thru.
The black one is 10% see thru and the navy one might be 30% see thru, they are thin and never thought so transparent even for darker colors... Are the nude beaches my only choices? Thanks!

Wear them at the pool and see what the lifeguard reaction is as regards to that pools regulations having to do with the appropriatness of attire.

I think we could advise you better if we had photos of you in them to go on

Personally, I wouldn't wear anything (see-throughs, thongs, jock cups, etc.) at a public pool or beach that appears to be "exhibitionistic".

It will just give more ammo to the antispeedo/antigay crowd and defeat the progress we've made to bring back acceptance of speedos at public pools.

My advice: Just stick to plain (and opaque) racer briefs, square cuts, or trunks.

I totally agree with all of that.
However, I've worn unlined speedos on beaches dozens of times.
Not to show off in, just coz they're really comfortable.
Never once has it been an issue.
[ Although I have caught people checkin my package out a few times! ]

If ya want some really useful feedback tho, post a pic!

PS - I'm talkin about navy or black speedos here, not white ones!
I think at the most these just give a slightly clearer outline.
White shows EVERYTHING!
