I'd look for turbo brand suits. They're mostly waterpolo suits but most of them are really hot! Some of their sizes are weird so look up the size chart to be sure or if you can find a swim shop locally that sells them go try one on!

hope this helps be sure to post a pic of you in whatever you decide on!

Skater,
Without seeing what u normally wear or anything hard to say. My brother is almost the same way. I would guess you like black or grey? Possibly with some lines maybe?

I wear a size 30 Speedo and wear a size 32 pants. Personally i would rather my suits be on the tight side than loose and floppy.
try

You can design anything you want
I don't know what quality suits these are or how they fell but the concept is cool.

Hey, I'm very similar to you in that I like to wear surf/skate brands and I'm also a 32 waist.
I actually have a pair of Billabong briefs that I found at my local surf store. They're solid black with the Billabong logo on the side.
I've seen pics of Billabong and Ripcurl briefs that have their logos in large on the butt, they look really nice and I've been trying to find them for ages.
If you can't find any of these then I highly reccomend Aussiebums. Not only the comfiest trunks you'll ever wear but you'll feel sexy as hell haha
Be sure to take a pic if you find any -- and link me to where you found them!

I've done a bit of hunting! Check out SurfDome.com for O'Neill and Quiksilver trunks!
The ONeill ones are very comfy, I used to have a pair. The Quiksilver pairs look pretty plain apart from the tiny logo on the butt.

If you live in the U.S., check out swimoutlet.com They give customer feedback on how the suits fit. Surfdome has some cool stuff, but if you're just getting into figuring out sizes, start with swimoutlet. They're good about returns. So is aussiebum, but they are far away from the U.S. and the return shipping would cost more.
