Beaches in Mississippi

Hey, just moved to Mississippi and havn't really had a chance yet to stop by the beaches. anyone know if theyre "speedo friendly" or should i just wear the board shorts?
A good place (and a good rational) for wearing a speedo is to go swimming at a pool. I've been doing it for 8 years and it seems that no one cares what you're wearing if your in the water.
