Speedos in Cuba or Dominican Republic

Hi everyone,

I'm hoping to go away on Christmas Eve to either Cuba (Cayo Coco, Veradero) or Dominican REpublic (Punta Cana). Soon it will be 2 years since my grandmother died and I want to go away to a different place to escape familiar surroundings. I hope to wear speedos at the beach. Can anyone tell me if that will be ok? I want to get a nice tan and what better way than to wear a speedo, right?

Please provide me feedback.

Thanks,
speedoboi

Hey there - I've been to Punta Cana and its ok to wear your speedos. When I was there I only saw two guys wearing speedos - the one cute guy seemed to wear his everyday. He looked great and really made an impression on me! I still remember him. Anyway....

The beach where we stayed was mostly all inclusive resorts, and we didn't leave the resort area so I am only commenting on the beach where we stayed. It seemed to be mostly American families.

If you are staying at a resort I'd say, yes, you can wear speedos, but don't expect a lot of swim suit eye candy.

Perhaps someone has stayed in another area of Punta Cana and had a different experience.

SpeedoBoi,

Last time I was down that way was in 2007 - stayed at an all inclusive resort in Tulum.

I couldn't believe the number of Europeans down there and consequently there were speedos everywhere!!!

I wrote about it on my blog - http://www.aussiegayguy.com/speedo/i-love-european-men/
