Adidas swimming briefs

Earlier today, I bought a new black Adidas swimming briefs (with white stripes on sides), cos I'd been losing weight and needed a new pair for my new size.

Since I have several Speedos in my new size, I thought I'd give Adidas swimming briefs a try. When I tried on them at home, I have found the fitting is not very good around the groin area, which as a result my scrotum(!) could be seen if I slightly raised one of my legs   . It would have been no problem in a gay club or somewhere like that, but not in a public swimming pool where there are boring and conservative folks around. (I can imagine the news headline: "4 OAP Swimmers Found Dead Floating in a Swimming Pool From a Heart Attack")

So sadly I will have to take it back, which is a shame cos I have always liked Adidas and wearing the '3 stripes' swimming briefs would have been very nice. I guess it's back to the ever-reliable Speedos, eh? :D

Are you allowed to return swimwear after it's been worne? I live in Toronto, Canada and swimwear cannot be returned once it's been worne. I have a pair of swimbriefs by speedo, no problem so far. Even my TYR swimbriefs are ok. I do have a pair of Adidas swim shorts (a bit above the knee) that were purchased in Olhão, Portugal. They're over 5 years old, still look like new. The fit and feel is great.

Hi speedoboi,

It's still got tags attached, and I only wore it for no more than 30-45 seconds, so it'll be okay for return. I always say "unused" when I return something because it's technically correct - in this case I have not used the Adidas swim briefs for its intended purpose.

I used to have an Adidas square cut swim short and they were quite nice but I now prefer swim briefs nowadays.

Very smart Speedo76. My adidas swim shorts are not square cuts, they're loose shorts. But I also prefer swimbriefs whenver I go to the gym and use the swiming pool. I notice a difference when i swim in them (although I'm no expert swimmer).

Hi speedorod,

I haven't had a chance to return it as I was very busy in work today, so I'm hoping to do this tomorrow morning first thing before I head to work. 8)

Unfortunately I don't have skype as it's not possible for me to use it, so I'm afraid it's good old PMs at the moment

I have several pairs of Adidas briefs that I bought in Europe. I have no problem with them but found they do run small, perhaps a size up will give you a little more coverage.

sooner they were returned the better. another thing is the "hygien e" tag needs to be kept on them. some stores are very picky though and dont return them, ye need to get them in a good mood lol

How can we open a public swimming pool or is it possible? My husband and I want to open and operate a public swimming pool in our area. How can we do so or is this possible? Does it have to been opearted by the city in which we live? Who would I call to find out this information?
