No more Arena stuff in North America

Arena has stopped selling stuff in Canada and the USA. I found a comp suit at an outlet store at Sawgrass but that was a couple years ago. Their Asian comp suits are really hot as guys here know. And they make some of the best jammers. They actually show a bulge and make your butt look good. Anyway, we only get the dorky jammers here.

hmmm - I didn't realize that - but now that you mention it, I've only gotten mine on eBay and they were from Hong Kong or SIngapore, I think ...

it's not the first time Arena has abandoned the US market. there were some great Arena products in late 70s thru the mid 80s and then they simply disappeared.

There are a couple ebay stores from Asia. I think the one I've looked at that sells jammers is in Singapore.

I've always believed the company was French.

Thanks for the reply. I sort of thought so too. I'm going to google in French. Maybe I can get an e-commerce store in France.
{tick, tick, tick} or in French (
tique, tique, tique} :D
I googled French for bathing suit {
maillot de bain} and generic speedo (
slip) and Arena. Their corporate site seemed to emphasize tech suits. They had some intro images and the guys {
mecs} were wearing boardshorts or jammers. On other sites, the word for boardshorts is
boardshorts.

They also use the word
bermudas and that was for lycra square cuts. Fairly hot. I forget what jammers were. On e-commerce sites you could buy Arenas in speedo style , square cuts, and jammers. Not the hot Asian jammers tho. I don't think they ship to the US. When I clicked on the American flag on the site that had one, I did get English, but all the Arena stuff disappeared, including my shopping cart
{
panier=bag}.

I got some women wearing jeans. One lady wore a Red Sox cap. Some sites were cheap (like under 12 bucks for Arenas speedos) and some sites were expensive (like over 40 plus shipping!!!). One site had some really nice Adidas speedos. Man I wanted those. The sizes were weird and they didn't convert to English/U.S.
Ehhh! That was the one where the English version made my shopping cart go away. {

Try
http://www.swimoutlet.com or
http://www.swimandtri.com for Arena gear. It is not an extensive selection but they have a few things. I used to order direct from their website and found theirs suits were durable and fit well. I have a few pairs of x-flat material suits that are great

Hey thanks pw. Swimoutlet is having a clearance but their down to sizes to small for me...22, 24. They had a print that was really cool. I've bought from Swimoutlet. Wish I'd checked them earlier.

Arena is still widely available here in Singapore so if there are any requests for any particular Arena swimtrunk, I will be happy to help look out for it.
