No more Arena stuff in North America

No more Arena stuff in North America
Arena has stopped selling stuff in Canada and the USA. I found a comp suit at an outlet store at Sawgrass but that was a couple years ago. Their Asian comp suits are really hot as guys here know. And they make some of the best jammers. They actually show a bulge and make your butt look good. Anyway, we only get the dorky jammers here.

Re: No more Arena stuff in North America
hmmm - I didn't realize that - but now that you mention it, I've only gotten mine on eBay and they were from Hong Kong or SIngapore, I think ...

Re: No more Arena stuff in North America
it's not the first time Arena has abandoned the US market. there were some great Arena products in late 70s thru the mid 80s and then they simply disappeared.

What country is it from? France? Germany?SpeedoMike wrote:it's not the first time Arena has abandoned the US market. there were some great Arena products in late 70s thru the mid 80s and then they simply disappeared.

There are a couple ebay stores from Asia. I think the one I've looked at that sells jammers is in Singapore.Scotty wrote:hmmm - I didn't realize that - but now that you mention it, I've only gotten mine on eBay and they were from Hong Kong or SIngapore, I think ...

I've always believed the company was French.
Re: No more Arena stuff in North America
Thanks for the reply. I sort of thought so too. I'm going to google in French. Maybe I can get an e-commerce store in France.SpeedoMike wrote:I've always believed the company was French.
{tick, tick, tick} or in French (tique, tique, tique} :D
I googled French for bathing suit {maillot de bain} and generic speedo (slip) and Arena. Their corporate site seemed to emphasize tech suits. They had some intro images and the guys {mecs} were wearing boardshorts or jammers. On other sites, the word for boardshorts is boardshorts.

{panier=bag}.

Re: No more Arena stuff in North America
Try http://www.swimoutlet.com or http://www.swimandtri.com for Arena gear. It is not an extensive selection but they have a few things. I used to order direct from their website and found theirs suits were durable and fit well. I have a few pairs of x-flat material suits that are great
Re: No more Arena stuff in North America
Hey thanks pw. Swimoutlet is having a clearance but their down to sizes to small for me...22, 24. They had a print that was really cool. I've bought from Swimoutlet. Wish I'd checked them earlier.pw2005 wrote:Try http://www.swimoutlet.com or http://www.swimandtri.com for Arena gear. It is not an extensive selection but they have a few things. Re: No more Arena stuff in North America
Arena is still widely available here in Singapore so if there are any requests for any particular Arena swimtrunk, I will be happy to help look out for it.
