Shaving Styles

I was just writing about pubic shaving on my blog and was wondering if any of you guys had any style suggestions.

Mike (my casual speedo buddy right now) has a tuff of trimmed hair on the top side at the base of his shaft. Looks pretty good to me.

Actually Dave, I used to do that too ... but the "tuft" kept getting smaller and smaller until I finally just decided to try to go smooth ... At first I was worried that I might be teased about it, or laughed at ... however it seems that most everyone who sees really likes my "hardwood floors"

just depends but I alternate between smooth and a line of hair the width of my penis with all the rest of it trimmed and shaved smooth. Or the other way I do it is all smooth.

Hi Cat--

I shave my legs all the time. For the first several times I suggest doing it in the bath, with lots of hair cream rinse to use as shaving cream. Take your time and go as far as you want.

On shavnig the pubes, I like to trim them with the hair clippers. I shaved them a couple times, but those hairs on me are pretty course, and i ended up with lots of irritation. May be better to use wax strips or something that won't leave you with stubble around your stubbie. The razor seems to work ok on the scrotum, though. Love the feel of the soft scrotum you can enjoy only after the hair's removed.

I bought a Norelco Bodygroom. About 40 bucks at Walgreens. It's designed for pubic hair and is okay and safe. Not as close as a razor. Im not ready for that yet. I have fine hair and am very careful with the foil head. Some reviews say the foil head breaks. You just have to be careful. You cant get a close shave with a thick cutter. And you have to be careful of the foil and avoid whacking it around. If you have thick hair like a Cheasapeake Bay retriever or a fox terrier, this may not be for you. I've ahd mine (the body groom, not the fox terrier) for three months with no trouble.

For now Ive trimmed everything except a small area above my shaft. I love having a smooth sack and th Bodygroom is painless. I tried my regular Norelco shaver on it and ended up bleeding quite a bit when it nicked off some little bumpy thing.

meh who cares what they think lol. id prefer my guys to be shaved or "tufty" than have a national park between their legs. xD

Yep tufts are cool - I did that for a while before going with "full hardwood floors" .... haven't really found anyone who doesn't like it that way either

yea im pretty much just trimmed as short as possible i cant really shave cuz it gets irritated easily and grows back far to quickly

im glad you didnt hurt yourself then, would hate to think i caused you pain

if you did id need to come aid you betterm few massages and rub downs to get you better xD
