I hope speedos become more popular in the US, as there are too many great looking men over there who should be 'on display'. I've worn them swimming a couple of times while traveling in the states, but it's not very common is it? You certainly get a few looks! Quite different to Aus where speedos are part of our uniform.

I'm all for the speedo's coming back into style. I never really understood why they went out of style here in America but thats life.

Fat middle aged people + speedos = ow, my eyes! That, and at least out here in California, speedos on the beach are seen as exclusively gay. For our European readers, has the same thing been happening in Europe lately?

Although there aren’t many guys wearing Speedos on the beaches here in San Francisco, I’ve noticed that there are quite a few guys wearing them at the pool where I go lap swimming.

It’s not a matter of looking “Cruisey” for the Gay Scene - I like wearing them because they are very comfortable for swimming and once I get in the water, no one really sees what I’ve got on and no one has ever commented about them either.

In fact, when no one’s been around, I’ve been know to go swimming while wearing absolutely nothing!!!

Thats fantastic news. Here in South Africa you hardly see any one at the beach or even at the pool wearing a nice speedo. They just wear these long horrible pants things. Terrible- nothing to see, cant show off your.... and you get a lousy tan. Yes yes yes bring back the good old speedo.
