could this be a country thing? most guys in the US that wear speedos point down. Is this a cultural? or regional?

Could be - or a generation thing. I'm a down pointer, and always have been. To do it any other way is uncomfortable and just doesn't feel right.

don't agree with this whatsoever. i swam competitively in h/s and college, and most guys (mostly Americans) point up. maybe the difference is if you wear speedos for fashion or function.....???

American and down for me. Up doesn't feel right, it's kinda Uncomfortable. It's definitely sexy either way though. Hehe.
