skimpy speedos in public pools?

Post by cloudboi » Wed Jan 16, 2008 4:59 pm

Hey as you mostly know, I am new here and apologise if this question has been asked already.

I used to belong to a Jewish Association where I went swimming (no, I am not Jewish, but Danish but anyways that's another story) because it had the best pools of any health clubs around. I normally wore a jammer or regular speedo or a square-cut like this one:

(The photo was on my old Myspace, btw, hence the text)

But what I was wondering is . . . how skimpy a suit do most of you wear at a public pool and has anyone found ppl to ever frown upon such, I mean something like some of the Arena suits I've seen?

Any ideas? Sometimes when I got out of the pool even with jammers on it was very easy to make out most of my anatomy . . . not that I minded but yeah. :)

I say, wear whatever you're personally comfortable with, and to hell with what other people think!

As long as you're not breaking any law or "dress code", you'll be fine :D

I agree with what has already been said. However, cloudboi - with a body like yours I would suspect that you could get away with a lot more (meaning less) than others ... I mean from what I see you are some serious eye-candy (and I mean that in the nicest way possible .... just tell me when I can have a lick :) )

Awww, thanks that sweet! But really Idk what I should wear at a Jewish Community Centre pool! Speedos are fine apparently but . . . some of the Arena briefs I dig are a bit much. I tend to think I should stick with things that are common to competitive swimwear.

In my youth a guy wouldn't be caught dead wearing pink anything, especially a Speedo! The more I think about it, he might be found dead wearing it. :(

I agree Speedomike.
A smile can work miracles.
This guy has no smile on his face either.
But it's a great beach... Great body, I mean.

I agree, unless there is a dress code, wear what you want. No matter what kind of speedo you wear, your anatomy is going to be quite evident. Be comfortable in what you wear and have fun with it.

him man new to this site and loving it
when you mean skimpy i think of some tarzan thong or see through speedo which is
downright offensive in a public pool
just recently i was swimming at bronte pool in sydney, a salt water beach pool when some old dude comes out of the
water wearing see through aussiebums showing everything to the world, not a good look for anyone really except
at home
