Way back in the sixties when I was a lad, my parents signed me up for the swimming team and gave me my first pair of speedos... back then speedos were made of soft nylon withou the lycra. Speedos came in wild patterns, hawaiian prints, you name it. I was almost instantly hooked on the sensation of that soft material and bright colors against my privates... I wore my speedos (secretly at first ) for underwear and sleepwear.
When I took my first minimum wage job ( in the seventies) I cruised the department stores and purchased nylon tricot mens underwear from a company called "Bottom Lines". The nylon mens underwear was expensive but gave me that same feeling of silky fabric against sensitive skin.
I even stole a pair of my older sister's leopard print panties just for that special feeling.
Fast forward the new milenium... after decades of wearing boring cotton underwear and surfer baggies... i rediscovered the joys of speedos and nylon underwear. Speedos have changed and are now fortified with lycra. I regularly wear sexy women's (size seven) panties and thongs under my business suits. I have found ebay to be an excellent source for exotic thong and rio cut reasonably priced swimwear. I enjoy frequent travel to the Yucatan peninsula in Mexico, where the beaches are a terrific place to pose for some provocative photographs...( the yucatan peninsula looks like a bulge in a speedo )

I remember those days in the sixties as well. The lifeguards at the local pool wore speedos. It was not until the boy next door joined the swim team that I even knew they were 'speedos'. I always dreamed of owning a pair. My good catholic mother practically taped my brothers and I up before allowing us to go off to the pool, but once there, I admired those 'men' in speedos. They always had the girls hanging around them. It was not until I went off to college that I bought my first pair. I still have them today though they don't fit any more. They were awesome and I wore them as underwear as well. I preferred the original tricot fabric as well. I always thought that the little 'sling' the fabric formed for a mans cock to 'hang in' was very sexy. Anyway, one time when we were leaving the pool, one of the lifeguards was standing in the dressing room, naked with a bunch of other guys in speedos hanging around him. I remember thinking that was really hot as well. One final memory was walking through the dressing room and seeing one of those speedos lying on the bench. I remember thinking 'all I have to do is grab it and keep walking', that damn catholic guilt kept me from doing it. Thanks for the post beechboy, it brings back good memories for me too!
