First of all if this is your first speedo, I applaud you, it takes some people a while I think to wear a white one in public. But don't get discouraged, the people around there probbaly won't care. I believe that is lined so you might not be as see-thru as say my white DES, which have no lining.

Go for it, you only live once and I think the people there don't care. :)

The white speedo solar (like what I and a good friend wore to a club for Halloween) are not really see-through unless you cut the lining out - which means you should be ok ... have fun with it - I know the rest of us do  "If you've got it - flaunt it ..."

Now if you DO want people to really notice you, then cut the lining out . . . but be forewarned ... if you do that, then you will be on complete display .... (which isn't always a bad thing  )

Oh, and please share some pics after you return ... :D

Dry: they are fine.

Wet: Like they said, try it in the shower. It's pretty much like wearing nothing. BTW, Solars are not lined, they are double ply.

Oh yeah, and applause to wearing them in public.

Actually, I must give credit to guysluvbsb - he is absolutely correct when he says that the white ones are double-ply. It's the red and blue ones that I have that simply have a front liner. This may make it more of a chore to cut out of the white ones as the 2-plys are even connected down the front and rear seams.
