During the 1960s I remember seeing only one young teen facing up, and I was shocked. It just wasn't done that way. Lots of guys did the 3 pm, 4:30 pm, 6 pm, etc. thing. Upers seemed to show up a while after guys began wearing lycra. I still best like the "bee stinger" look when the stub points straight ahead!

For me it's always up - it just seems the natural way to do it.The tightness of the speedos hold it snugly against your stomach. When the speedos slide down a little after swimming it tends to flop down into the straight ahead or hanging down position.

I have always worn my speedos with my cock positioned downwards, ever since I was a kid. I've noticed over the years that most guys position upwards, which to me looks really nice. I particularly like it when you can see the outline of the underside of a guy's helmet.

I've tried positioning upwards a couple of times, and it feels so nice and comfortable, that I end up getting hard too easily. I guess that's because there's nothing to hold it back. Also, once I get hard that way, it's near impossible to get it to go soft again because it feels so nice positioned up the way.

Other than mind over matter, can anybody suggest a way to get 'round this problem. Is it just a case of keep on trying it until I get completely used to it. Or am I always going to have this problem?

either way i normally have it to the side sorta pointing down if that makes sense. so if it got hard it would move up the left waist band. hard ot explain really.

You're right chrisy-that way, if you do get a stiffy you can hide it (partially) by hooking your thumbs inside the waistband and spreading your fingers to disguise it.If you're pointing up or down you would have to do some "re-arranging" to get it to that position

Up and to the left is the way to go!

Up looks better, and I like to start mine out that way. But it usually works its way down over time unless I keep "scratching" it up.
