I just wanna know cos I'm looking for signs in other guys

and perhaps try to sneak some stuff in to sway their decisions (If they'd go that way, of course

)
So, what was the deciding factor (Or things that led up to it) that made you determine you were gay/bi?

I first noticed guys at a young age but never really figured it out until my mid teens. I would jerk off thinking of guys but didn't understand why. I was on the swim team in school as well as cross country and track, I loved checking out the bulges of the other guys and would sneek peeks in the lockers and showers all the time. I thought I was really discret about it but a guy I knew from school caught me a few times. I tried out for wrestling in school and really liked it but eventually the coach asked me to leave the team, during a match I got alittle too excited and everyone noticed, it wasn't uncommon to get hard during a match but i got really excited. The coach didn't say much he just approached me and said "I dont think you should stay on the team". Looking back I do regret taking his advice but I still had other sports. Thoughout school I started my duel life, I would be sleeping with guys but even my best friends had no idea that I was gay. I loved sucking cock and being fucked and still do, I must say though I've been really lucky, I've known alot of gay and bi guys that have had horrible first time experiences.
I think based on your post your looking for info on how to detect if others are gay, well that can be really easy or hard depending on the guy, most guys i've been with are "straight" or bi (i mean they all must be bi or gay but alot claimed they are straight) I am myself I dont come across as a typical gay man once i get to know someone and i'm interested in them (sexually) i find i'll make little jokes to test the water and see there responce then go from there.. Good luck and just be true to you and trust me you will never convince a totally straight guy into having sex at least not while he's sober lol

There were never any 'signs' as such - I have always been attracted to all things male, even as a young kid. I always knew I was 'different' in that I liked and was good at anything arty or creative, and i hated sport - though you have to realise that in the 60's and 70's sport wasn't as varied as it is now. As a kid I used to cut pictures of guys in underwear or Speedo's out of the papers, and had quite a stash - I guess you could say that there was probably no doubt of my sexuality at that stage. You also have to take into account that even though most guys who are gay haven't been influenced as such by exterior signs or motives, a lot of guys are restricted (or feel restricted) by things such as race, cultural influences, religious influences and societal or family pressures to suppress their sexuality. I am of the persuasion that believe that being gay is genetic, and not really influenced by other things. I had a very normal upbringing for the most part, my mother was never dominant or overbearing (nor was I a mummy's boy), and despite my father trying to get me to play sports and do hobbies that would have been considered 'male' I still knew I was gay (even though the term didn't exist at that time, and certainly sexuality of any nature was never discussed) and when circumstances were right I came out and lived openly as a gay man. As a teenager I used to go to the beach specifically to watch guys swimming in Speedo's, and until the advent of openly available porn used to buy fitness magazines to get 'bulge' fixes. Despite times changing, i don't think things are really all that different for guys now who are gay. There are still restrictive influences around, you still need to pick your 'moment' to come out, and the same fears and trepidations are faced by guys coming out. I don't believe that a jerk-off session with a mate or a circle jerk or wanking each other off as young guys makes you gay. Curious yes, but not necessarily gay. For a lot ofguys, experimentation is part of the process of defining sexuality. And if you want to know if I ever got off with a girl? Yes! Was it enjoyable? No! I had to fantasise about guys to climax. That was definitely a defining moment.

Yep, thanks a bunch for your experiences!
What can you read from a guy who would behave gay to me, like holding hands/winking at me/doesn't mind me being close to him etc, but he does this to other people sometimes too. It's just that I react more to it.
Do you think he's really gay? Or just playing around? (What's your opinion?)

Is this someone you are intending to haver some sort of relationship with? If not, I'd say he is probably playing the field. Maybe he is interested in nothing more than a bit of fun!
