When you own a range of swim briefs, what's your thought process on which to wear today?
Lined vs. unlined, more conservative or more gregarious, drawstring or no, contoured pouch, more glutes coverage vs. less, etc.
G'day Guys,

Re: Thought Process
I just consider if it is appropriate.
If I'm swimming training in the public pool then I wear plain intact speedos. Admittedly some of them wear out to transparency which I don't worry about, but they just normal non-fetish or otherwise speedos. I really don't feel like I need to be the centre of attention, I just want to do my thing and go.
At home when washing the car or baking in the sun, then I'll wear anything. I'm not into fettish stuff, but if its old, unlined, faded or whatever then I'll wear it. I live on a property, so there aren't too many people around anyway and my friends and family know and have all seen me in speedos anyway, it's not that special in Australia.

Re: Thought Process
I try to wear mine in order so I don't generally have favourites.
At the end of the week, after washing, they go to the bottom of the pile.
Normally wear a speedo at the beach and at home but I often just wear a thong at home, or nothing at all.
And I always cut out the lining when I buy them.

Re: Thought Process
Depends on the activity, I start with whether I'm lap swimming or lounging and then what's appropriate for others around. I'm a sucker for a racer cut over a fuller brief but just depends on the context. Racer cut makes for the best tan line for my tastes though
Re: Thought Process
I prefer my speedos to be very snug so lined at the front.
Re: Thought Process
I always choose the skimpiest I think will pass; never anything more than a 2.75" side. And an AB wonderjock if that will be OK-enough! I swim laps at my neighborhood pool in AB loose WJ's, like the one in my profile pic. Swim at my YC pool in an AB 1.5 Classic.
