Has anyone stayed at the Margaritaville Resort in Orlando?

I found a YouTube video of the pool area. No speedos, but it looks large enough so you can do what you like in peace. I prefer the Ocean.

When we've been there, I've worn square cuts, but it's almost entirely boardies.

Welcome to Florida in advance! Unfortunately, I seldom see other speedos. I do agree, a female companion makes you feel more bulletproof to criticism, unless that female is your only critic. But since it's so touristy here, I wouldn't worry about it. If you're going to get noticed for not wearing board shorts, you might as well be comfortable and wear what you like.

That's my situation exactly. My wife and I go to the panhandle regularly, where I'm usually the only guy in a speedo. And she doesn't care for it.

When I'm in Orlando I frequent the YMCA in the village of Doctor Phillips, just NW of International Dr. My favorite Y in the country. An outdoor pool as nice as any summer Midwest municipal swim center. There, you'll find speedos, jammers and boardies on men, and cheeky 1-pieces and bikinis on ladies. They're swimming seriously and casually, sunning and everything in between. My favorite place to speedo.
