Stage Play: Red Speedo

There's a play called
Red Speedo by Lucas Hnath. The lead character wears one. It's about the lure of performance drugs in sports. It's been produced in New York City, Washington D.C., San Francisco, and at Yale University in New Haven and has had some good reviews. Some productions have included a water filled partial view of a pool, and one had glass sides so that you could see the lead character under water. The New York Times gave it a good review. Pictures are from three different productions. I grew up going to a lot of plays, and I'd like to see this.

Thom this looks fantastic. Is there any Youtube footage or anything online? I hope to get to see the play and take pictures

Hey Martin. You're welcome! I agree: it looks like it should be an amazing play. All I've found so far is a monologue from the script posted on Youtube and done by a young and aspiring actor, but we only see his head and shoulders. The author/playwright may strictly enforce the copyright.
The author of the play is from somewhere here in Florida. Maybe now that COVID is winding down, they'll put it back in production.
