Storing swim suits

Hey guys, wondering how everyone stores their swim suits. Most care instructions state to hang dry once they’ve been washed. Will storing them on a hanger cause stretching of the fabric or is it ok to store them in the closet like that? Most retail stores display them on hangers so I assume it doesn’t stretch them?

Once dry, in the drawer with the sport gear

All mine a rinsed after use, then dried, then stored in drawer.
I have had some of mine well over 10 years. No problems.

I rinse mine straight after use whilst in shower

Then air dry. I sometimes lay it flat on the clothes line or hang it. Either way is fine for me

I have seen speedos in stores hanged with clothespins in hangers, so it's not needed to stretch the suit.

How I store my swim suits? I let them dry at a window or in the tube of my walking closet and then I put them in a drawer.

Always air dry then either into a drawer or into a storage tote. Depends on where I’m pulling them from. I own probably 300+ swim briefs/thongs so they are stored in several places. I’m afraid to actually count them so I don’t know for sure how many I own. But it’s a LOT!! Do you know how many will fit into one standard storage tote???? They do stay in my home with a central humidifier to help preserve the elastic as well.

Air dry, then in drawer. Some loose, some in original bags.

My suits get rinsed, dryed in the spin-dry suitmate machine, air dried on the way home, then spend their life getting jostled around in my gym bag. No issues.

Just air dry them alongside my towel and then back into the swim bag once its all dry. I’m not a shining example of best practice though, I go through a fair few of them!
