I don't pay attention but I counted today and apparently I have 13 pairs. I'd say that's not too bad. When it's more than 30 i would say that's too many.

I definitely have more than 30, I have maybe 20 in Colorado at Kip's place and another 20+ back where I grew up in Queensland... so totaling maybe 70.
Next week I might have Kip put up some of the ones I have left in Colorado although last time I tried this I didn't get much of a response.

I'd say it's only "too many" if you have ones that you don't wear. I usually find myself reaching for the same dozen or so favorites, so I sell off some of the neglected ones. Then I have funds to try some new suits and look for new favorites!

Oh goodness...I definitely have too many!! I’m afraid to count but I probably have over 200 (possibly pushing 300), many still never worn. When I see a style, color or design that’s different than what I already own, I’ll buy it. I have many of the same style of suits but in different colors or patterns.

Ok, at least I know I am not It alone! I am afraid to count them to know. I find the Europe / Aussie Speedo Branded ones are more narrow sides. The USA Speedo branded are almost mini square cuts. So I keep buying ones to find better fits. So some trail and error with brands, cuts and fitment. The best quality suits I have found and wear like leather are the Turbo, Zumo, Fennis water polo suits. One of my original Aussiebum suits is made of this material too. I worn it since 2007. They don’t stretch very well and sizing is critical with them. Anyway, I have accumulated a collection of Speedos and rotate most of them out each time at the pool.
Yeah I have some trendy suits, N2N, Eros, AC, and they have their purpose! I still have original Speedo Thongs, red and blue and ruined the black cutting Td liner out. So just wanted to see if other like minded guys have or in the same boat.
Some one favorites Speedo standbys is my Low Rider AB Anger, AB leather like PBT suit, And the 1.5 classic. When I fly all over one of these is always with me!
Layer guys

Wowser chicago! One way I keep myself from buying more is reminding myself what else that money could be going towards. It helps if you have a family that you are supporting, 'cause then you don't have all that much to spend on a new suit anyway (not that it ALWAYS stops me!)

Thanks for the tip! Finances vary from household to household and I’ve been very fortunate so the cost is never really a thought to me. But you’re right in your advice in every way!

I have 21 speedos including two swim thongs and a square-cut... I have used all of them in self-pleasure but only a few of them in swim, pool or beach. My mom criticized me for spending too much money on speedos, but she didn't know I had bought them with my savings since three years ago. I don't care what she says. I love speedos and I want a big collection of them. While I have enough money to spend in new speedos without creating debts, I will keep buying them.
My current speedo inventory at May 20, 2018 is as follows:
-Austinbem swim brief in Brazilian cut resembling a Rufskin with aztec style, I don't remember what collection it is. External drawstring in one side. Size M (28"-30"). Used only for self-pleasure.
-Arena navy blue swim brief with left side in royal blue and white and right blue logotype. It has lost its drawstring. Size 26. Used only for self-pleasure. It runs very small in me (I'm 28", not 26")
-AussieBum League 10 sky blue swim brief (Chinese counterfeit). It has a 10 in the butt and AussieBum logo in the front. It came with the logo and the "10" both cracked, so I can't wear them in public. Size M (30"-32"), Used only for self-pleasure, I don't use to use it because it fits me big, I prefer giving it up to a 32" friend to have sex.
-AussieBum League 11 navy blue swim trunk (Chinese counterfeit). It has an 11 and AussieBum logo in the front. It came with the "11" cracked, so I can't wear them in public. Size S (26"), so it runs small on me. Used only for self-pleasure.
-AussieBum Shine Blue swim trunk (Chinese counterfeit). It doesn't shine like expected and doesn't have the sky blue-royal blue gradient nor the plastic feel, it disappointed me but what if? Size M (28"). Used for swimming and self-pleasure.
-AussieBum Shine Camo swim trunk (Chinese counterfeit). It doesn't shine like expected. Size M (28"). Used for swimming and self-pleasure.
-AussieBum Lowrider Flower Power swim brief (Chinese counterfeit). Size M (28"). Used for swimming and self-pleasure.
-AussieBum Lowrider Viper swim brief (Chinese counterfeit). Size M (28"). Used for beach and self-pleasure.
-AussieBum Lowrider Anger swim brief (Chinese counterfeit). The first speedo I ever bought by myself, 3 years with me and it already shows some signs of use. Size M (28"). Used for swimming, beach and self-pleasure.
-A Chinese copy of Andrew Christian classic swim brief. Hip and sides are sky blue, pelvic bands are white and front and butt are black. External drawstring. Size M (28"). Used for swimming and self-pleasure.
-Chinese black swim thong with fluo-green sides and drawstring. Fluo sides have two tones, one of them clearer than the other. Size M (28") but it runs big on me. Used only for self-pleasure.
-Desmiit blue swim thong. Size M (28") but it runs big on me. Used only for self-pleasure.
-TYR Andromeda swim brief. Color black and grey. Size Junior 28 but it runs a little small on me. Used only for self-pleasure.
-Clever Flag swim brief. It has an external drawstring and a print based on American flag: half stars and half stripes on front, only stripes on back. Designed with bulge enhancer. Size S (28"). Used for swimming, beach and self-pleasure.
-Clever UK swim brief. It has an external drawstring and a print based on British Union Jack flag, but the vertical stripe on centre is missing on front. Designed with bulge enhancer. Size S (28"). Used for swimming and self-pleasure.
-Turbo LA Uni waterpolo brief. It has a red internal drawstring and a print inspired in varsity teams with a panther and a flower-ish background. Size XS (28") but it runs a bit small in me due to low cut. Used for swimming and self-pleasure.
-Turbo Origami waterpolo brief. It has a white internal drawstring and a print inspired in origami and surf. Main colors in the print are green, rose, blue, black. Size S (30") but it fits me better than LA Uni one due to low cut. Used only for self-pleasure.
-Speedo Superiority Aqua Short swim trunk. Color black. Size 28. Used for swimming and self-pleasure, it fails hard in masturbating.
-Aqux silver/aquamarine green/black/white swim brief (Chinese counterfeit). It doesn't feature Aqux logo but a Surf Blade logo on the butt. Size M (28") but Japanese fit, it runs very small and my penis often get out of the speedo. Used only for self-pleasure.
-Disney(R)-Pixar Cars red swim brief. The smallest of my speedos. It doesn't have lining nor drawstring. Front print is a red race flag background with LED numbers on top and Lightning McQueen at left side. Back print is almost all about McQueen with red, sky blue and white tones. Size 8yo (it's for children, like 20" or 22") but surprisingly it fits me almost perfectly due its very stretchy lycra. I don't use to use it due lack of lining makes my penis see-through even while dry. Used only for self-pleasure.
-HARDCORESPORT Centennial Bulldogs swim brief (branded as HardCoreSwim). It was won by me at a bid on eBay (high school, varsity and olympic swim/diving/WP briefs are considered collection items). It's presumably from the Centennial High School in Las Vegas, NV but I searched about that school and I found they don't have any pool nor have swimming, diving or waterpolo amongst their sports. Color palette is mainly navy blue with sky blue and white. It shows a sky blue "C" on front and a sky blue bulldog face drawing on the butt along "Centennial" in white handwrote font and "Bulldogs" in white in various font sizes. Size 28 but it enters a little tight on me due to being for high school (maybe Junior size?), however it fits very well on me. Used for swimming and self-pleasure.
Soon I would be ordering Clever Barcode, AussieBum nylon Classic 1.5 red (original, not counterfeit), Q Swimwear Denver waterpolo brief, and Addicted AD black/yellow.

Ok, good to know. I check the suspected ones I bought from not AussieBum.
But I know my other ABs from AussieBum are the real ones. Classics, Lowrider, and few others I can’t remember their names. I been ordering from them a long time. I dive in one of there square cuts or wear it under my Wetsuit.
Thanks for the info

My current lineup is on the small side, only 4. But I really like them all and they are all used extensively. I hope to go the rest of the year without buying any more, but that never happens.
I say as long as you have the storage space and purchasing them is not putting you in financial difficulty, have a many as you wish!
Incidently...I have taken some of my unused speedos--wasn't happy with the fit/look/whatever--and donated them to the local charitable 2nd hand clothing outlet. Every time I checked they are GONE. Instantly, within a day. Interesting....

Had this issue - the fake stuff (sells on AliExpress and ebay) is a problem - they use Aussiebums photos to attract your attention, but look at other pictures in the description and you find there's a difference. When the stuff turns up the fabric is completely different to genuine Aussiebum. Reasonable quality, but not the same fit, and sizing is all over the place. Given that Aussiebum are continually having sales it's better to order from them and get the real thing.

& you can't have too many speedos!!! All those different cuts, colours, patterns, fabrics... But realistically I drew the line once I reached 100. Keep them in one of those large plastic storage trunks (no pun intended) and try to rotate them so they all get used several times a year. Occassionally notice other guys at the pool who wear a different speedo each time I see them.

I am really well stocked in speedos. I have just bought the Addicted AD in black background with big yellow letters. I ordered it online.
I can recognize counterfeit ABs mainly by their inner tags. Original AB tags are different than counterfeit ones. Even the cut and fabric can give us clues. For example, the cut in my counterfeit AB Lowrider Flower Power is really bad, front side is similar to back size and it doesn't help too much to crotch. Counterfeit AB Lowriders have lining in both sides, originals have it only in front side. Original AB Classics are 100% nylon, counterfeit AB Classics are of nylon/polyester mix.
Soon I'll be ordering an Original 100% Nylon AB Classic from a local store from my city. I visited the store and I certified they sell only originals. They're having a final sale, so I can buy them at a good price before they're gone and new models come. They have Red and Noosa but in M size, I should be XS or S, but anyways I will try them before buying.

I would like to buy original AB swimwear in their website, but I can't afford it. Unfortunately I live in Peru, and AB doesn't send for free to Peru under any circumstance. I would have to pay for an expensive courier, and couriers in Peru are very problematic. I also could to use a freight-forwarder in Miami, but I only have two more opportunities in this year to use it (Peruvian customs allow citizens to use international couriers until 3 times in a year without paying taxes, buying under 200 USD) because I have already used it to bring my HARDCORESWIM (seller didn't send to Peru), and I want to use both of them for buying Q Swimwear (one for the Denver waterpolo brief and the second for a custom Team GB London 2012 Replica made by me from zero).
I'm considering to take away from some of my speedos. My first candidates are the navy blue Arena 26", the blue AB League 10 M size, the royal blue AB League 11 S size, the AB Shine Camo, the AC copy and my two swim thongs. I don't like them very much because the cut, the fit, the cracked designs or the colors. They are 7 in total, giving me more space for the two Q swim and waterpolo briefs, the original AB Classics "Red" and "Noosa", the Clever Barcode, the UK Commonwealth Games Gold Coast 2018 from Arena, and the Chesterton 1953 with roses background and black numbers (it can be bought from seller master-nuoto on eBay). I don't like my Speedo Superiority swim trunks (square-cut) because the cut and the fact that it doesn't feel any hot, but I must keep it in my closet because it can be my lifeguard in swimming classes.

No such thing as too many! You need one or more for every occasion, and some extras for situations you're not yet aware you'll need one for
