So I was visiting a friend of mine in Florida, and he and his wife have a pool, and I had the following text exchange with my wife (who wasn't there, obviously).



My wife and I are going on a beach vacation in May, which is what I was referring to. If my pretty conservative in-laws weren't going to be there with us, I might just "accidentally" leave my board shorts at home and only wear a speedo on the beach. I've found a YMCA with a lap pool at our vacation spot, so my wife knows I'll have a speedo with me for exercise purposes. But before you guys offer too many encouraging words, let me just say that she was being sarcastic.

But maybe- just maybe? There's a chink in her armor? One can only hope...

Sarcasm or not, she’s the one who brought it up so that makes me believe she’s okay with it. While it may not be her cup of tea, it sounds like she generally accepts the idea that you like to wear speedos.

At least she is supportive of your Speedo’s and doesn’t try to stop you wearing them.
