Strange thing happened at the hot tub

This evening a little before dark my wife and I were at our athletic club outdoor hot pool by ourselves. She was wearing a black one piece suit and I was wearing a red Sporti Euro.
To reset the jet timer you have to get out and push a button on the wall. As I was pushing the button for the second time and walking back to the pool an employee came out of the building with a confused look on his face. He then said he had gotten a call telling him there was someone naked in the hot pool but that he could see that we were both dressed and he apologized for the misunderstanding.
This left me wondering who thought I was naked and what would have given them that idea. There are security cameras mounted high on the wall above the pool and maybe someone viewing the cameras could see into the pool and see my bare thighs and thought I was naked. I don’t think anyone inside the building would have been able to see me. I wonder however if someone who saw me walking out to the hot pool was disgusted by my skimpy suit and made an exaggerated complaint to the front desk.
I’ll probably never know the reason for the naked report but the next time I see that same employee I think I’ll ask what he knows about the source of the complaint.
