Planning a vacation during late august-early september for a speedo-friendly destination in either the US and/or Canada--would love to hear of any recommended places that would be great to wear speedos at/place with beaches, hiking/swimming spots, etc.?

Currently looking at Vancouver, Toronto, Seattle, Chicago. Thanks for the recommendations!

Last summer I went to Toronto and discorvered a little gem: Hanlan's point Beach. Its a Clothing Optional beach on an Island 10min south of Toronto. There is a Ferry every hour.

The beach is nice and the guests are mostly between 25 and 40 years old and well kixed betwee men and women. I would say that 40% are naked and the rest in swimming suits, speedos being the prefered type.

Its a really nice place to rest/party/picnic. I really recommend it!

Vancouver BC has Wreck Beach, which apparently gets pretty naked LOL. I went there one gray, rainy day in March and there wasn't much going on. But the trek to get there was a superb leg and cardio workout. Theres nowhere really to park, so I used the university parking garage and hiked a few blocks to the steps leading down to the beach. I mean like thousands of steps. Walked the beach and climbed the rocks and tree obstacles and headed back. Wondered if I could actually just take off and haul ass up all the steps, but alas, couldn't do it. And I'm in really good shape, you know... So this isn't a beach you want to try to lug all your gear to. Bring nothing but your water bottle, wear only the very legal minimum to get you from the college to the beach.
