Speedo slang

Post by Norfcountryboy » Wed Sep 13, 2017 1:24 pm

Wondered what slang terms people use for speedo's? I've heard of budgie smugglers, bag of balls and banana hammocks [Which is my favourite]. I read a post from Dave that mentioned DT- or Dick Togs, Aussie slang which I'd never heard of, so wondered what else people say.

Um, off the top of my head ...

Sluggers, sluggoes (they can see your "slug"?)

Nuthuggers, ballhuggers, meathangers (self-explanatory)

DTs, DPs, DBs (dick togs, dick pointers, dick bathers)

dick stickers

nylon disgustors

PMSL. Blueflinch. That's a good list of names.
In the UK we call em trunks, speedos, occasionally Budgy smugglers,
Not as inventive as the Australians I am afraid.
Love speedos, running shorts, rugby shorts, Aussie rules footy shorts.

Thanks Speedoaddict.

Aussies might be inventive. But remember you gave us English to begin with. And we don't have your cute pommy accents either. :P

I appreciate the nicknames but I still simply prefer calling them speedos, generically, or bikinis for the smaller ones. Briefs for the larger ones, 3" sides or more. And strangely enough, I get really turned on when I think of a tiny speedo as being just a "bathing suit". Or a "swimsuit", for the more athletically inclined.

Ha, there's some great names there. Now I'm wondering if anyone gives nick names to any of the speedo's that they own?

Usually whatever pair I am wearing at that moment or talking about I tend to call my "Bad boys", as in "Check out these badboys that I brought today".
A few pairs of mine that are favourites or have some aspect about them I have given specific names to. So my Sullis navy blue tangas are the "Bad lads",
My Flesh unlined blue briefs are my "Banana Hammocks",
My Kiniki Andres are "The Beasts" and my bright blue unlined Slazenger jammers are "Schlongers" because they show every vein of my schlong 8)

With Speedoaddict - trunks are the name I've been used to - they refer to any male swimwear from briefs to shorts. Much prefer the term "Speedos", but also like the Aussie term "Toggs" or "Swimmers"
Speedos - the only way to swim...

I don't think Americans have even got to the stage of giving them a creative slang term. They're still at "Ewww."
