In defense of speedos

I read a little article about speedo wearing which was followed by comments. I copied and pasted the following comment because it was so well said. I agree with it completely and couldn't have said it better myself.
"American men for the most part are extremely uncomfortable in their own skin, or put another way, quite insecure. They have been in large part neutered by the feminization of the culture. Being confident and manly is no longer seen as a plus for the male population. Men have been turned into squeemish effeminate touchy feely mousy beings, afraid to do anything that might offend someone. In fact American men are beginning to take on many of the characteristics of Muslim women, hiding behind as much clothing as possible, especially when it comes to swimwear. That's why male boardshorts are often referred to as "murkas"....or male burkas. Then there's another reason for men not wearing speedo type swimwear. Most men can't swim and most men are quite fat and look rediculous in a speedo!"
