Who remembers Speedo Authentic Fitness stores? I used to love going into those stores and seeing the vast array of speedos hanging on the rack. A speedo lover's paradise.

Oh sure. They were in malls all over the US. I was always a nervous wreck trying to walk into them and buy solars (my Speedo-brand suit of choice), but I probably got at least three or four suits that way. And that was when they were really one inch!!!

I used to shop at a Speedo store which has now been out of business for more than 15 years.

Why do they call the Solar 1" when it clearly is not!

Speedo® had a store in Boston at the Prudential Center. They also had one locally here. That's now a Lacoste store, and that probably won't last long.

Years ago, there was a local independent store in Boston at Copley Place that sold Speedos® and other brands. Amazing selection. They had another store in Provincetown on Cape Cod. I bought a true, 1" Speedo® Solar at the Copley Place store. Still have it.

I bought a few speedo solar at the speedo shop by me, as well. They even had some tho gs, but I never bought one there. I still have one, as well, but it is a bit looser these days, and just worn as underwear now.

Never had Speedo Authentic Fitness in the UK. Well I don't think we did. Lol.

There is a Speedo brand shop in Sydney.
