Anyone have experience with Aronik swimwear? Debating between the brief or bikini cut and not sure but leaning towards the skimpier bikini cut

I love the cut of that bikini, butb $90? No way I could justify that.

Same here. The bikini cut is very much like my skimpy black Speedo from the early 1990s that was even more bikini cut than the original Solar 1" suits I bought a few years later. I just love the look of those Aronik bikinis, and they come in some great colors, too, but $90 is a luxury price that I wouldn't spring for. And I don't see anywhere mentioned if they have a draw string, which is a must for me.

I purchased 2 Aronik suits last year before my vacation to Mexico. I was very hesitant because of the price, but my speedo fetish got the best of me. I ended up returning both suits before the trip because one didn't look anything like what I had ordered and the other suit just didn't look that great on me. I wasn't impressed at all for that amount of money. They do have stunning designs though, I have to admit that.

Hey guys,

That is a bummer to hear, some of their photo shoots look fantastic. The $90 is too much for me as well though.

Wow, the briefs and bikinis both look great but I second every one else here in saying they are too expensive. However I just may have to try them. The question as always would be what size to buy. It seems you can never rely on suits fitting how you expect.

They do have sale items on their site but they are still expensive.

You have to get to know the brands. Each one is a little different. And there are different versions for the same brand in different countries. Even though an overseas manufacturer is licensed to use a particular brand name (Speedo, Arena), the cuts can be very different.

Still waiting for the Turbo and AB suits I ordered. Hope they didn't get lost in shipping. It's happened a couple times.

If you are in the US and ordered your Turbo from the U.K. It's going to take a while. If you ordered a suit that is not in stock don't expect it to ever arrive. I ordered one that was not a stock item and waited over three months then changed my order to a stock item and waited another two or three weeks for it to arrive.

Thanks. Yes, I am in the U.S., and I ordered from the U.K.--I think the site you recommended.

I'm thinking about ordering an Aronik swim brief or bikini but I wanted more information so I emailed them. For your information I learned that the brief has a 3" side and the bikini has a 1.5" side. They both have drawstrings but the brief ties on the outside and the bikini ties on the inside.

If I order I'll probably get the bikini since three inch sides are wider than the two inch I'm used to wearing. The 1.5 inch would be a little briefer than I'm used to but so long as there is good coverage in the back I'm fine with it.

I have a black bikini and a brown bikini. Love the fit of them. They are pricey, but it's a really nice suit!

How is the back side coverage with the bikini?

I know Turbo swimwear is Made in Spain and can take a little while. I had this problem when I bought mine 2 years ago. If it is a special order suit they say 12weeks.
Try Budgy Smuggler next time.

I ordered and received a brief and bikini in size M. I am disappointed. They don't fit well at all. I am going to send them both back but I don't know if I will reorder. By their sizing guide the size should be right but they are baggy. They don't even stretch tight across my backside. I can imagine how loose they would be if they were wet. I'm afraid if I exchange for a smaller size butt coverage will be an issue.

That's disappointing. So either their models are wearing demo suits or, the suits that are completely taped down to make them a perfect fit....possibly even both. The cut looks good but nothing is worse than a ill-fitted suit. That's for reporting back. I can take this brand off the list ....

I would say that the models either have bigger butts than me or are wearing smaller suits. Not that I would expect to look like the models wearing it, but it should at least not be baggy. It's frustrating to order suits that are exactly the right size according to their size charts and find they are wy too big. There is really no way to know if something is going to fit unless you try it on. I think I will decide which cut I like best then I will return both suits and exchange one for the next smaller size.
