How's Black's Beach like?

I am seriously considering going next week just to be able to wear a speedo out in the open. I would be going with my boyfriend and I think we'd just both be wearing swimsuits, small ones though lol He's not a big fan of speedos, but I'll make up for it.
Overall how's the atmosphere? What are the people like at the beach? Is the water too cold around this time?
I'm not super sure how to get there, but I'll just GPS it unless anyone here has any tips? Also any other tips in general when it comes to enjoying Black's Beach?
