Jammers to speedos

As of a week ago I arranged for a one on one swimming lesson during an evening adult only session at a local pool, with an instructor twice my age I got on quite well with. As I've only been swimming a short while compared to most (although I've been wearing speedos since my teens) starting lessons/swimming at the age of 28, but unfortunately stopped due to financial and heath related issues last march, dispite finally feeling I was making progress. And dispite the odd visit after, I hadn't been for nearly 10 months.
This pools next lot of lessons start in a few weeks time and to ease me in gently, thought best with a few one on ones beforehand.
Feeling rather nervous and apprehensive, I got to the pool changed into the rather plain speedo jammers I normally wear (i had considered shorts with how nervous I was) and waited pool side. I know the jammers aren't exactly speedos or that revealing (or to me at least) but that hasn't stopped the odd snide comment or remark from immature guys and females on more than one occasion. Even in my first ever proper lesson, one female was so wound up at a guy in jammers learning in the same pool, she resorted to the old 'gay' comments and accusing of preving and putting her off.
So it came as a bit of shock when the instructor showed up, stripped off his shirt and joggers revealing a tight black speedo, before jumping in. As normally I've only ever seen him in jammers, water shorts and the pools t-shirt both in and out of the pool.
As for my actual swim, I didn't do as bady as I'd expected and the pool wasn't even half as busy as I'd feared. And spent half the time chatting and catching up on stuff.
Although, as he clearly doesn't have a problem with wearing speedos, I'm tempered on ditching the jammers and wearing the speedos instead on my next visit. Or at least for these one on ones at least and seeing where it leads. I just have the hard job of deciding just witch one I'm going to wear.
