Most younger women do like guys in speedos as well as some older women. Depends on who's wearing them too. Some 300lb dude maybe not too cool wearing speedos. But usually women like to check out the guys as men (some) check out the chicks

Yes they do! That´s also my experience. By accident I´ve asked girls and women (may be the number of them is not representative) and most of them prefer speedos - at guys who can wear them. They don´t want to see insane boardshorts at a swimmingpool. Not only optic but also by hygienic reasons.

My wife has never seen me in any swimsuit other than a speedo and we've been together over 30 years.

My better half wasn't a fan at first, but she soon got used to them. Now she creates a little calendar or some other picture trinket each year from our holidays of me and my speedos A totally non scientific poll from the UK indicates some initial derision followed by acceptance and some sly glances of approval as people get used to them!

My girlfriend and have been dating for 2 years, and we went on our first beach vacation together recently.
I'm a swimmer, so she knows I wear speedos to swim in, however she's just never seen me in them.
On our first day on the island, we decided to go to the beach..
Which I wanted to test her out and see how she'd react to me wearing a speedo on the beach.. So as we were changing in our room, I casually said.. " hope this doesn't bother you, but I'm going to wear a speedo to get a good tan".
Which her response was perfect, and made me like her more.. "Honestly I figured you'd wear one, you swim and you've got a hot body..".
After spending a few days at the beach with her (in my speedos), I've come to realize she likes seeing guys in shape in tight form fitting swimsuits.

We certainly do have a lucky bunch of guys on here paired with fantastic female better half's!

As Texas has recently experienced, his negative comments came from guys, not gals. Thinking back, I have only ever had encouraging words from females to go speedo; any discouraging comments have only come from insecure guys.

I think the answer is yes. They may tend to indicate otherwise but that is probably because they mostly see them worn by guys who probably should not be wearing them in their opinion. So test that by being one of those guys who, in their opinion, maybe should be wearing them. Do it where you will be seen and stand out as being probably the only one present who should be so dressed, in that said opinion, act like it's no big deal because it isn't.
For me this is every evening at the local fitness center. There are few actual swimmers there later at night. Patrons are mostly older folks who desperately need to be there a lot and whom I encourage to do so, as if their lives depend on it. What I'm wearing, the official suit of of competition swimming worldwide in any age bracket at any pool, then apparently gets to be the topic of ladies locker room discussion which, in a town of 22 thousand can get back to my wife.
If ladies were grossed out and disgusted and unappreciative of me wearing speedos and it became the talk of the town and my wife heard about then I would too, believe me. LOL. However she thinks its funny and tells me she's proud to be married to that guy who's in better shape than most a third his age.
From the photos you guys put up claiming to be of yourself, and the profile pictures we see, assuming they really are you, most of you should be proud of your physique. By all means show it appropriately if you want to. Again, if your behavior is what people don't like, what people might remember most is what you're wearing and make an unfair association in their quick-to-judgement minds.

Neutral in my experience, providing the garment suits the wearer and they are confident in how they carry themselves I don't think women have a specific preference.
I did have a girl who didn't like me wearing speedo's at the pool. She said they revealed too much. BUT, when she brought me underwear it was always speedo style briefs or square legs. My conclusion; she liked what she saw but didn't want to share the visuals!
