Wearing Speedos in Punta Cana

Hi everyone,

I am excited that around mid-december I will be at a 5-star resort in Punta Cana. The resort is called RIU BAMBU. Last time I went it was a 4 star and there were some guys from Russia (straight, many of them) in swim briefs. I enjoyed tanning and wearing my speedos at the beach and pool. At the pool there was this nice looking guy in speedos tanning and i decided to lay down close to him. He looked and smiled but too bad nothing happened. I would simply like to have some bulge rubbing fun or some fondling or making out.

Any ideas on how I could possibly make this happen? My other problem is that I lost a bit of my speedo confidence. The stress in my life (being a caregiver) took a major toll on me. My stomach was swollen and it's been over 1 year that I have been seeking treatment. How is the Dominican Republic for guy fun? Does anyone know if the resort RIU BAMBU is gay friendly, or at least friendly for guy on guy fun?

I'll be in Punta Cana for my honeymoon in mid-December too. How would you rate the speedo-friendliness of the resort beaches? I understand some beaches are topless, but that is frowned upon at the pool. Does the same apply to speedos?

I googled your question, and it looks like a couple places are especially gay friendly... Paradisus and Secrets, but seems if any resort is adults only, its gay friendly. Didn't find much info on speedos though, mostly questions about thongs and topless.

I have been to the DR several times, but never to Punta Cana. However, I don't think you will have any issues wearing speedos. Punta Cana is popular with tourists from all over, so I expect you will see many people in speedos.

No one batted an eyelash at me wearing speedos on the beaches in Bayahibe and Las Terrenas, which are not resort beaches.

I wouldn't expect much of a gay nightlife outside of the touristy enclosures. Although the local people are extremely kind, I think being gay is still taboo in the DR.
