Does anybody know about the Speedo culture on the island Mykonos (Greece)?
On the internet I find a lot of information about the island, especially that it is very popular by gay people (I think that wouldn't a problem for most of us on this forum). I find also a lot of pictures of the very nice beaches and on those pictures I see a lot of man wearing Speedos. Not only the "normal" Speedos, also the smaller ones. For me it looks like a Speedo paradise where you don't need to hide your bulge, and I get the impression that it even wouldn't be a problem to have a boner in your Speedo. Are there guys on this forum that already went to Mykonos and is it indeed such a Speedo paradise?

I can't speak for Mykonos personally (I was there, but never had any beach time), but will say, when I visited Greece 11 years ago, if you were wearing board shorts, you were obviously a prude tourist. I even found my American purchased Speedo brand suits too embarrassingly large!

After my first ocean speedo experiance, I went to a sporting goods store and bought a couple smaller, and for Greece, conservative side width suits, a beautiful Arena, and my first beloved Adidas 3-stripper! Only if I knew then what I know now, I should have gotten three or four more 3-strippers....but I digress.

I did get a major hard on one of the times while wearing one of my new suits, that would have been a little too embarssing to show. While laying on my stomach, I fell asleep on a lounge chair (provided on the beaches that you paid to go on, and worth every euro to get on them, at the time), and was woken by women screaming as they were playing beach vollyball, topless! A, I was transfixed by 12 very nice looking women playing volleyball, and B, watching their very nice breast bounce up and down! I hope you have the same problem!

Enjoy your trip, and only take that speedo along, or purchase a new, smaller one, and post your nice new tan lines! Snow
