How to take logo off manually?

Hi, I don't want to sound like a wet blanket, but I really really really dislike logos on all of my clothing (though I admittedly like the 3-striper, haha), so I'd like to remove the Speedo logo... I have the Solid Briefs. It feels like a sort of plastic or vinyl or something... I heard about a hot iron but I don't have one, maybe any alternatives? I might just need the iron, haha.
I don't swim and it doesn't get much use, so it wouldn't happen naturally for years!
Cheers

why don't you buy plain speedos.
But that speedo logo is tiny. so does it matter

Pshh... it'll start to peel off on its own soon enough. For those of us who like the logo, it's annoying. But, it might work in your favor!

When I was a wee little nipper the logo was sewn on. ;-)

My first Speedo, the logo was heat transfered like the kind you describe and it wore off eventually, but only partially, not fully, so it looked rather ratty. My later Speedos had the logo embroidered so it's a lot more permanent. Me personally, I don't mind the logo but what I really don't like is the "FINA" label on the backsides of some of the asian Speedos, Arena, Asics and other makers suits, which is made of the same heat transfered stuff. I have wondered if the FINA label could somehow be dissolved off with some sort of solvent but I don't want to be the guinnee pig that ruins a good swimsuit trying to get that label off, so I thought maybe painting it over with a black permanent marker might at least tone the label down some.
