Swimathon

Hi guys,
I've mentioned this to a few of you during conversations via PM but I feel like I'm going to give this a go as a whole post as there's only 17 days left to go!
Basically, I'm going to be swimming 5km in one go for Sport Relief. - of course, I'll be rockin the briefs! :p
For those who may not know, Sport Relief is a charity event in the UK that raises money for all sorts of causes at home and abroad through the use of sport, it also encourages people in the UK to get active and hit the pool, cycle and run to fundraise.
I've been an avid swimmer for about 3 years now, in that space of time I've become a pool lifeguard and have begun training to become a swim teacher so I love swimming and hope to inspire people to get in the pool themselves, I truly believe it's the best form of exercise that anybody can get.
My original fundraising target was £100 - and so far I've been overwhelmed by donations and have smashed that target. If you would like to donate the link for my JustGiving page is https://my.sportrelief.com/sponsor/nate5k I would be grateful for any donation, any spare pound/dollar you have would be lovely :)
Training is going fairly well, my original target was to swim this in under 2 and a half hours, but after a few long distance swims I can now pretty comfortably say I should be able to do this in well under 2 hours!
Anyone here done a charity swim before? How did you get on?
