Im thinking about heading to MIAMI for a winter vacation!

Hey Everyone--
Im thinking about heading to Miami Florida this winter for an extended weekend vacation to hang out at the beach. I was there a few years ago, and it was my first time on a beach in a speedo. I took one for each day I was there! I stayed at surfside, and the beach was complete desolate--not a soul around for over 1/2 mile. It was like having the entire beach to yourself! Although it was very relaxing and totally awesome, It would be cool to hang out with a few buddies there.
What better way to relax is on a beach, in speedos, 70-80 degrees and during the winter when its snowing back home??
I plan on taking my boogie board and hit some waves, and just relax on the beach!
Let me know if you would want to hang out! Im thinking about Mid-February, but willing to work with anyone who wants to go.

What beach did you go to and when paspeedo?
I'm headed to Miami for a work thing(Eden Roc/Fontainebleau area) and was wondering what the beach scene is like? I'm planning on bringing Speedos regardless, but wanted to know other's experience at the beach. I don't know how much time I'll have, but plan to go a few times for a little bit.
Good experiences? Bad?
Now....which suit(s) to pack? Hmmmmmmm.....

Hey GRS--
Everything was positive about wearing speedos there at Miami Beach. When I was there a few years ago, I had only a few solid prints, so I took my Aussiebum League black, speedo endurance orange/black and the Adidas 3 stripe. I went to Surfside beach-- I went during January, the water was about 70. I was the only one there a couple days-- It was like having a private beach!! lol
This year, I plan on taking a boogie board, my turbo USA brief, my adidas GB olympic brief and a few others.
Let me know when you are planning on going-it would be cool to have someone to hang out with, as I usually go myself.

I'm going next week for a work thing. Eden Roc/ Fontainebleau. Still not sure how much time I'll have, but I'm still hoping to hit the beach a little.

If you do, have a blast! Be sure to give a trip update when you get back.
If you plan on coming down in February, it would be awesome to meet someone in person from the board and hang out!

With it snowing sideways here in Colorado, a mid-Feb trip sounds great.
By then I should be back in Australia but otherwise I'd definitely be interested.

Yea Dave--that would be awesome. We should try and organize a gathering sometime during the summer. What do you think?
