Hey does anyone know any good speedo beaches near the San Diego Navy Base? I'll be moving there in about a month and can't wait to wear my speedos out in public. Also any guys here from SD?

any beach in San Diego is fine for wearing speedos. Some days and times better than others, but never an issue - even if you are the only one. You can also check in the Highland district at one of the shops or bars. It is kind of the gay center of action with shops, bars and hotels.

Blacks Beach just north of SD is known for skimpy swim wear or totally nude. As a local how to get to it.

Seconded .. Black's Beach is fun .. use the North end which is a hike down from near the hang gliding area.

Welcome to San Diego! Like the others said any beach is fine I have been wearing speedos all my life I am 21 years old. Most guys my age don't wear speedos but no one really cares what you are wearing thats why I love SD. I have heard Blacks beach but haven't been there but my favorite beach is moonlight in Encinitas. Other good beaches you can try la jola. You might have better luck asking around in Hillcrest which is the gay community and if we gays know anything we know our speedos. There is also a cool shop there called Mankind they sell all kinds of designer speedos, underwear, athletic wear, and erotic wear. Its my favorite store! San Diego is pretty laid back when it comes to beach attire. Good luck! If you have any questions feel free to ask.

Yeah I always go to Black/s beach when i'm in SD .. fun and lots of skimpy speedos at the north end
